IMPORTANT DELIVERY INFORMATION DURING THE WARM SEASON
CHOCOLATE MELTS!
Our chocolate is packed in insulated padded envelopes and we include an ice pack. All items are sent next day delivery to avoid them sitting in hot vans and warehouses. It is the buyers responsibility to know that after dispatch we are not responsible for any meltage that may occur during transit with the courier company as it is out of our control. We do not refund any melted chocolates.
Chocolate starts to soften between 26 and 29°C, and melts at around 30 to 34°C. The temperature inside a mailbox or delivery van can be 20+ degrees higher than recorded temperatures. Most chocolate melts as a result of being left unattended in a mailbox or by a door. We will use insulation to try and ensure the safety of your package during shipping. We cannot be responsible for items that melt during transit during hot weather.
Chocolate items ordered during hot weather are ordered a your own risk and you acknowledge the risk of the chocolate melting in transit. Should any items be delivered melted or broken you will be required to make a claim against the delivery company for compensation. No returns or refunds are accepted. Please remember this before leaving any negative feedback.
